Saving Money a little at a time

There is the old phrase look after the pennies and the pounds look after themselves.

It refers to making small savings will help you towards a bigger goal.
By regularly saving away little amounts of money whether it be in a bank account or a money system at home (i.e. a money bank for loose change) this could amount to a fair amount in the future.

This extra money could be spent on that dream holiday you have always wanted to go on but never had enough money to go on it. It may also help towards the deposit on a house or car and may help you save the need to get into bigger debts because you have the ability to pay them off early.

I would reccomend trying to save some money possibly even just ten pounds a month, after a years worth of saving you would have £120 saved away.

Try it yourself you may be surprised.

One other thing I would like to mention before I go is that with the account you put your money into can influence greatly the amount your savings add up to. Remember to swap accounts regularly and look for competitive interest rates that give you the best return on your money.
